Biography
Ndoni Zemvelo Shandu is a committed and disciplined actress, model, and voice-over artist. Born on January 8, 1991, in Ulundi, KwaZulu-Natal, she was raised by her grandmother, who instilled in her a deep appreciation for Zulu culture, identity, and humanity.
Growing up in a rural setting greatly influenced some of the roles Ndoni has portrayed, including her performance as a traditional healer on Isithembu. Her early passion for performing began with entertaining family and relatives, which eventually grew into a strong love for theatre and music. This love allowed her to refine her stage and television performance skills, with notable appearances at venues like the Ekhaya Multi Art Centre and the Bat Centre.
Additionally, volunteering at a local radio station helped Ndoni enhance her voice-over skills. She later showcased her exceptional talent in this field on the Ukube Ngangazi series on Channel 169, where she appeared as Kamla. Throughout her exciting journey of learning and sharing her talents, Ndoni feels deeply humbled by her experiences and honored to share a part of herself with the world.
